The Technical Sales Coordinator for EPP is responsible for coordinating and driving the sales of electrical pipeline process services and products to clients within the oil and gas industry. The role requires a blend of technical expertise and sales acumen to ensure effective communication with clients, identifying needs, and offering solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure business targets are met, while maintaining excellent customer relationships. Experience in multinationals such as Shell, Schlumberger, or similar organizations is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage sales activities for Engineering Pipeline Processes (EPP) and provide solutions to drive revenue growth.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring a thorough understanding of their technical and operational needs.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration of technical requirements with client expectations.
- Prepare and deliver compelling technical sales presentations to existing and potential clients, showcasing EPP solutions and their benefits.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding company’s presence in the Engineering pipeline process sector.
- Develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales deals with new and existing clients.
- Act as a liaison between customers and the internal engineering team to resolve any technical issues that may arise during the sales process.
- Provide technical input and support in the development of new products and services related to electrical pipeline processes.
- Monitor industry trends, market activities, and competitor movements to identify potential threats and opportunities for company.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management, including insights into market trends and customer feedback.
- Develop and manage a sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and lead conversions.
- Attend industry conferences and trade shows to represent company and network with potential clients.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; MBA or equivalent is an added advantage.
- Member of a recognized Engineering/Sales/Management or related professional body.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience, with a significant portion of that time spent in a technical sales role within the oil and gas industry.
- Previous work experience in a multinational(s) in the oil and gas industry such as Shell, Schlumberger, or similar organizations.
- Strong understanding of electrical pipeline processes, equipment, and industry standards.
- Proven ability to drive sales growth, manage customer relationships, and close deals.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present technical information in a clear and persuasive manner.
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
