Senior Sales and Business Development Executive – EPS

Our client is an Oilfield Services company to the Upstream sector in the Oil and Gas.

The Senior Sales/Business Development Executive for Engineering Procurement & Services is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market presence within the oil & gas sector. The role requires a dynamic individual with extensive experience in sales and business development across this industry, ensuring strategic alignment of business goals and forging strong relationships with key stakeholders. The successful candidate will manage sales activities, identify new business opportunities, and work closely with clients to provide tailored solutions that meet their needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage sales activities for Engineering Procurement & Services (EPS) and provide solutions to drive revenue growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, ensuring alignment with company’s growth objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners within the oil & gas sector.
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations to decision-makers, showcasing the value of EPS’s solutions and services.
  • Negotiate and close deals with new and existing clients, ensuring profitable sales growth.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify emerging opportunities and potential risks.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and operations, to align sales initiatives with overall business objectives.
  • Drive sales forecasts, reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management and recommending action plans where necessary.
  • Represent company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote the brand and expand business opportunities.
  • Develop and manage a sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and lead conversions.
  • Provide insights and feedback from clients to help shape the company’s products, services, and market strategies.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 8-12 years of sales and business development experience, with at least 5 years in the FMCG and oil & gas industries.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and meeting or exceeding sales targets in both sectors.
  • Extensive knowledge of the FMCG and oil & gas markets, including key players, industry trends, and regulatory environments.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers.
  • Strategic thinker with a solid understanding of sales processes, market development, and deal structuring.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to travel as needed for business meetings, conferences, and client engagements.
