Our client a drilling contractor is in need for an OIM to join their team in their offshore operation in Nigeria.
You will be responsible for the management, operation & maintenance of offshore installation and the health, safety and welfare of persons on or about the installation in line with the efficient execution of the operational program.
Qualifications/Experience
- Minimum 10 years offshore experience including at least 5 years in a senior/ supervisory/ management position.
- Extensive offshore drilling experience at a senior/supervisor level.
- OIM experience.
- Swamp or Jackup experience.
- Certificate of competency – STCW 95 II/2 unlimited (Master).
- Ability to access and work at heights up to 60 meters.
- Be at a level of fitness so can carry out various duties including use of SCBA, walk throughout multi-level areas of tender and DES and lifeboat operator.
- Offshore survival certificate.
- Offshore medical certificate.
